I am majoring in Geography and minoring in Spanish. I currently work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the lab of Dr. Alexandra Ponette-Gonzales. We are studying how efficient Post and Live Oak trees in Denton, Texas are at capturing Black Carbon particles from the air. Additionally, I am conducting my own research mapping and measuring particle pollution concentrations on common bike routes to and from the UNT campus. I enjoy backpacking, rock climbing, and cycling. I'm on the triathlon team and like to spend time outdoors. I am passionate about atmospheric sciences, pollution mitigation, and wildlife preservation.
